This is a stunning S&W New Model No. Three Target revolver in scarce .32-44 Caliber.  S&W produced only about 4300 of this model from 1887-1910.  This particular gun has a low 3 digit serial number in the 500 range.  Comes with a S&W Factory letter confirming its configuration and states it shipped in 1888 to an individual.  This is somewhat surprising to see one actually ship to a real human being as nearly all S&W's letter as shipping to large stores or distributors.  Overall condition is NRA Antique Excellent Plus with 97-98% bright vivid original blue overall.  Checkered hard rubber grips are perfect with no chips or cracks.  Nice subdued S&W case colors on hammer and trigger guard.  Action works perfectly.  Barrel to frame lockup is perfect.  Bore is mint.
